Thanks to Ralph Archibald for leading our Friends of Uplands Park bird walk in Uplands Park 7:30AM this morning. Such a beautiful sunny experience. Over 2 dozen birds were sighted (& some new flowers). The beautiful Towhee, and Shooting Stars, are Wayne’s photos. My snaps show Mallards enjoying the Central Meadow wetland, and, if you look closely, a Nuthatch tapping out a nest high in a dead limb of an Oak Tree. Ralph may send a checklist of birds sighted.
