Camas Day in Uplands Park with Native Plant Garden Tour – Sunday May 3, 2015.

Please join the Friends of Uplands Park as we celebrate our 5th Annual Camas Day Celebration in Uplands Park on Sunday May 3, 2015 from 10:00AM – 4:00PM. The Camas Meadows are in bloom, along with many Garry Oak Meadow plants.

Tours of Uplands Park, one of the venues on the Native Plant Garden Tour, organized by the Habitat Acquisition Trust [HAT], start at 10:15AM and will run every 45 minutes, or so. [View Native_Garden_Tour_Guide_2015]

The “official opening” of our Uplands Park Camas Day Celebration happens at 1:00PM. Bring a picnic, and a blanket to sit on, and enjoy live music by Ron Carter’s Bald Eagles Band. Rain or shine, we will be there with Silk Road Tea, displays of native plants for your garden, bubbles, juggling, and a wild flower colouring station for children.
